The vast touchscreen that anchors the Tesla Model 3’s button-less interior has its fair share of pros and cons. Good: it’s a forward-thinking attempt at reimagining how we interact with our vehicles, and it looks pretty slick. Bad: there’s always a chance that a police officer will think you’ve got an actual computer strapped to your dashboard and pull you over for distracted driving, as seen in this video spotted by InsideEVs.

Tesla starts making its own car carriers...

As Tesla heads into the final days of the third quarter, the electric car maker is attempting to ramp its electric car deliveries to reservation holders. Last week, Elon Musk noted on Twitter that Tesla has transitioned from one hell to another with regards to the Model 3 ramp. While Tesla is currently leaving production hell, the company is now experiencing what Musk describes as “delivery logistics hell.”

Ontario won’t appeal court decision that quashed initial wind-down plan that excluded Tesla
The Ontario government says it will not appeal a Superior Court decision in favour of Tesla Motors Canada over the cancellation of electric vehicle rebates.

“The Ministry [of Transportation] will abide by the court’s decision and I have directed the ministry to expand the wind-down process for the Electric and Hydrogen Vehicle Incentive Program,” Transportation Minister John Yakabuski said in a statement released Friday.

The next-generation Tesla Roadster is co...

The next-generation Roadster is Tesla’s upcoming halo car, a vehicle designed to showcase the ultimate capabilities of the company. Elon Musk shocked the automotive world with the specs of the supercar when it was unveiled last year, with its 0-60 mph time of 1.9 seconds, top speed of over 250 mph, 200 kWh battery, and range of 620 miles per charge. Inasmuch as these figures are nothing short of insane, Musk mentioned during the unveiling, and in subsequent tweets over the past few months, that these specs were actually true of the next-gen Roadster’s base model. Considering that there will also be a “SpaceX option package” for the vehicle, there is a very good chance that the specs Tesla announced last year for the all-electric supercar were actually conservative.
